Terms of Service
The terms that apply when using SpeedyTV services and applications.
1. The service
SpeedyTV provides software and services that allow users to access and manage their own media and compatible streaming sources in one TV experience. Features and availability may change as the service develops.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account. You must notify SpeedyTV if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
3. Your content and sources
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate rights, licences or authorisation to access, upload, store, stream or otherwise use content and sources you add to SpeedyTV. SpeedyTV does not grant rights to third-party content merely because the software is capable of playing or accessing it.
Where SpeedyTV makes content available directly, it will do so only where the appropriate distribution or licensing rights have been obtained.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use SpeedyTV unlawfully, interfere with the operation or security of the service, attempt unauthorised access to accounts or systems, distribute malicious material, or use the service in a way that infringes the rights of others.
5. Personal media
Where SpeedyTV provides hosted personal-media features, you retain responsibility for the media you provide. You grant SpeedyTV the limited permission necessary to store, process and deliver that media solely for the purpose of providing the requested service to you.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Features may be updated, replaced, suspended or discontinued where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or development of the service.
7. Third-party services and sources
SpeedyTV may interact with third-party services, networks, devices or sources. Their availability, content and operation are outside SpeedyTV's control and may be governed by separate terms and policies.
8. Packages and payments
Where paid packages or services are offered, the applicable price and features will be shown before purchase. Payment processing may be provided by a third-party payment provider. Any cancellation, renewal or refund terms displayed for the relevant purchase will also apply.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated breaches of these terms, unlawful use, security risks, non-payment for a paid service, or legal requirements.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. Subject to applicable consumer law, SpeedyTV is not responsible for third-party content or services, user-supplied sources, or losses caused by matters outside its reasonable control.
11. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the SpeedyTV Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page. Where appropriate, material changes may also be communicated through the service.
